I was tasked with modeling and texturing this character based on a concept sketch by Mathias Takacs. I blocked out the shapes in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, retopologized in Maya, and then textured in a combo of Substance Painter and 3DCoat. Rigging and animation by Mathias Takacs. We later changed the overall art style of the game to have comic outlines and more comic style shading, and also introduced player vs enemy color, so I retextured and switched the gems and eye color to blue. Made for Mutant Forge.
